Our Story

MESSENGERS OF HOPE
Victory Assembly of God Palm Bay is a home for all who are looking for an authentic relationship with God and others.
Victory Assembly of God Palm Bay was born out of a vision to reach the lost in a growing city. The city continues to grow, and the need remains to reach the lost with the Message of Jesus Christ. Our Goal is to equip the church to be Messengers of Hope. We do this by loving people, growing the church and taking territory for the Kingdom of Heaven. When we do this, we can walk in Victory.
In the early 1980’s Bruni Malara and his wife Cathy established a small church known as Family Worship Center Assembly of God at 726 James Circle in Palm Bay, Florida. After establishing the church, they were called to their next assignment from the Lord. Pastor Donald Duncan would take the leadership role for several years before relocating to Port St. Lucie. In March of 1991 Pastor Edwin Viveiros stepped in as the Assistant Pastor. By November of 1992 Pastors Edwin and Celina Viveiros were serving as the Lead Pastors. At the suggestion of their son Weslly, the church was officially renamed Victory Assembly of God in February of 1993.
The Viveiros’ had a vision, with the growth of the city already beginning to show, the stepped out in faith and purchased the land at 1800 NE Blaine St, Palm Bay. With the donations of the small but faithful congregation at the James Circle location they were able to break ground in April of 1998. It would be June of 2001 before the church would hold it’s first church meeting at the building we now call home. On September 17, 2001 they had their official service to dedicate the building to the Lord. Pastors Edwin and Celina Viveiros faithfully served the community and the people of Victory for 34 years as the Lead Pastors. The contributions of the Viveiros family over 34 years of Ministry is beyond measure. The church is so thankful for the foundation they have built upon the Lord that has held this church together all these years.
In May of 2022 Pastors Don and Kemi Zebraski arrived at Victory Assembly of God. They had served as Lay Ministers at Christian Life Center in Fort Lauderdale since 2016 until moving to Palm Bay in 2021. The Zebraski’ s continue to serve as Lay Ministers at Victory Assembly under the direction of the Viveiros’. In Feb 2025 Donald Zebraski accepted a position as the Assistant Pastor, until March of 2026 when they were voted in to replace the retiring Pastors. Pastors Edwin and Celina Viveiros officially retired on April 12, 2026. Pastors Don and Kemi Zebraski now serve as the Lead Pastors. Pastor David Loeffler and his wife Debi serve as the Assistant Pastors and oversee the Worship Ministry.
Victory Assembly of God is rich in tradition, but we are more than the sum of our past. We embrace the future and yield to the leading of the Father. We are so grateful for the roots of this church, and we wait with anticipation to see the fruits that are to come as we move forward. Victory is a place for the old and young, the rich and the poor, the weak and the strong. It is a place for you and me.
